My chosen theme is Fire, which I believe offers a distinctive and interesting perspective. Typically, fire is associated with danger and anger, but I view it as something comforting, peaceful, and protective. This perspective became clear to me during a campfire I experienced, where I discovered comfort in quietly observing the towering flames. Further research revealed that the soothing crackling sounds of a fire can reduce blood pressure, inducing a sense of relaxation - an irony I found intriguing, considering fire's destructive potential.
Moreover, a campfire fosters social bonds and friendships among individuals, making it a symbol of connection. Fire serves as a vital source of warmth during cold nights, a means of defense against predators, and a tool for survival. In contemplating its significance, I realized that our distant ancestors, the caveman, probably held a deep connection to these very emotions, as fire was an essential part of their daily existence, symbolizing that seeking fire is also seeking for comfort, peace, and protection.
My design concept is inspired by the clothing worn by the caveman and, I aim to convey the message that in embracing the essence of fire, we can find harmony and safety in today's busy world.
